Registration has been opened for the BRIT Awards Voting Academy members, the group responsible for deciding shortlists and winners across most award categories.
The 2025 BRIT Awards takes place on 1st March 2025 at the O2 Arena and broadcast on the ITV networks.
The organisers are offering voting guidance on conscious voting principles. This is designed to support informed and reflective decision-making during the voting process .
It is intended to encourage voters to consider diversity, equity, and inclusion goals when casting their votes, reflecting the BPI’s broader five-year strategy to improve representation and fairness in the music industry.
The Voting Academy comprises around 1,200 industry professionals drawn from across music sectors and the Academy’s composition is refreshed annually to support relevance and diversity.
The voting process itself is independently overseen by Civica Election Services to ensure transparency and integrity.
