The film Sinners, have had 16 nominations at the 98th Academy Awards, the most ever for a single film in Oscars history. It surpasses the previous record of 14 nominations, shared by All About Eve (1950), Titanic (1997) and La La Land (2016).
The Ryan Coogler directed film was nominated in almost every major category, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, technical categories, and acting nominations for Michael B. Jordan, Delroy Lindo, and Wunmi Mosaku.
Other Major Nominations are the Golden Globe Awards: 7 nominations (including wins for Cinematic & Box Office Achievement and Best Original Score).
Also Critics’ Choice Awards: 17 nominations (winning four) and Black Reel Awards: 21 nominations, leading all films.
